About the Role

As a Founding Engineer at CompliMind, you will:

• Design and build scalable, end-to-end solutions for our AI-driven platform, taking features from concept to production.
• Develop agent-driven capabilities, integrating foundation models with agentic frameworks to deliver intelligent, impactful product features.
• Enhance the front-end experience, creating responsive and intuitive interfaces with React, ensuring a seamless user journey.
• Lead backend development with a focus on scalability and performance, using FastAPI and Python.
• Drive DevOps practices, implementing CI/CD workflows, managing deployments on Azure, and ensuring high availability and reliability of our platform.
• Architect and maintain robust data management systems with PostgreSQL, optimising data access, integrity, and security.
• Influence product direction and participate actively in decisions that shape our platform’s evolution, ensuring it aligns with both technical best practices and user needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: You are a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, can build software from scratch and iterate quickly. You are curious about advancements of LLMs and agentic AI, like to get your hands dirty, and have a proactive entrepreneurial spirit. You have at least 2 years of software development experience and an outstanding academic background.
• The stack we are working with:
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI, and designing RESTful APIs.
  • Frontend: React, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, building user-centric interfaces.
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Cloud & DevOps: Cloud infrastructure (Azure), CI/CD practices and version control (Git, GitHub), and containerisation (Docker).
